Camera Product Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Our company is currently seeking a Camera Product Manager  

that will manage products through its lifecycle, prioritize/gather product & customer requirements, interface with engineering, deliver willing products and define product vision.

He or she will work with support, marketing, engineering and sales staffs to guarantee that product & marketing efforts are in line with the company’s overall goals & strategy.

Job responsibilities

• Managing customer’s projects and translate them from request to high volume manufacturing process with the help of technical team
• Create prepackaged lens/camera/housing configurations & process them to be manufactured
• Run pilot & beta programs that have early-stage samples & products
• Expertise with knowledge of competition
• Deliver of product/market documents with corresponding justification & prioritized features
• Interface with external third parties to assess development opportunities & partnerships
• Manage the development of third party partner relationships & serve as a liaison for engineering & marketing
• Serve as a product leader within the company

Required experience and knowledge

• Electronic or Optics Engineering minimum bachelor’s degree,
• Camera engineering and/or Image processing experience is a must
• Product experience is preferred
• Good knowledge of mechanical and optical constraints leading to good image capture,
• Experience in image testing labs or high volume cameras testing field,
• Able to influence cross-functional teams without having formal authority
• Solid teamwork and management skills
• Self starter with strong leadership,
• Demonstrated problem solving ability,
• Communication skills & fluent English speaker.
